Minio: Designing Cloud Storage for a Faster World

MinIO's object storage platform handles massive datasets in cloud-native environments, and the technology behind it was solid. The experience around it, though, hadn't caught up: workflows that needed to feel simpler, and usability that needed to match what the platform could actually do. Shortcut redesigned MinIO's product end to end, working closely with their product team throughout, and built a new design system alongside a new website so the brand and the product felt like one experience instead of two disconnected surfaces. MinIO has continued to iterate heavily on what Shortcut delivered, using it as the foundation for how the platform looks and works today.
