Zipmi is an innovative platform connecting Latin American workers with job opportunities in the U.S. by streamlining the visa process. After initially defining their visual identity, our collaboration evolved to completely re-architect their workflows, building a comprehensive platform for step-by-step case management for both employers and workers.
It was critical to address two different user perspectives: the U.S. employer, who must adhere to strict regulations, and the international worker, who often faces a daunting bureaucratic system and language barriers. The goal was to design an architecture that ensured clarity, eliminated the overwhelming feeling of endless forms, and presented only the necessary information at the right time.
We simplified Zipmi's visa application process by transforming lengthy forms into logical, manageable steps, dramatically improving usability and efficiency. For employers and agents, we built an intuitive dashboard to track the status of multiple candidates, converting scattered data into a clear, at-a-glance overview. This newfound clarity in tracking also paved the way for automation, which optimized communication and accelerated the entire visa process.
We affirmed that a robust information architecture is the foundation of simplification. It was our core strategy for achieving clarity, turning a daunting experience into a manageable journey. We learned that this clarity, grounded in architecture, is the ultimate key to making even the most intricate processes accessible to everyone.
